Think back to when you were young. What did you need from the adults in your life? Who helped you to believe in yourself and what you could accomplish? Our children have the same hopes, dreams, and desires of all young people, but face additional challenges in their homes and often lack that stable and consistent adult in their lives. Big Brothers Big Sisters’ mentors, donors, families, advocates, and supporters work hard to encourage and support today's children. When those children believe in themselves and what they can accomplish, they'll enjoy better relationships with their friends, families, and peers, and they'll help create safer, stronger communities.
